I’m Felina — co-founder of J&F Gift Inc., wife, and mom.

Our journey began in 2015, during our postgraduate years at the University of Alberta. After planning our own wedding, I realized how hard it was to find gifts that felt truly personal — not generic, not rushed, but meaningful. So we opened a small Etsy shop, creating custom wedding gifts from our tiny space at home.

It grew faster than we ever expected.

Then in 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic — while on maternity leave — I found myself thinking about connection. People were apart. Celebrations were cancelled. Milestones felt quieter.

I kept coming back to one thought:

Gifts shouldn’t feel corporate and cold.

They should feel human.

So we began packing boxes late at night, carefully choosing pieces that felt warm, comforting, and thoughtful — gifts we would proudly send to someone we love.

What started at our kitchen table has grown into J&F Gift Inc., serving realtors welcoming families home, companies recognizing their teams, and individuals celebrating life’s beautiful moments across Canada and the U.S.

But before any box leaves our hands, I still ask:

“Would I be proud to send this to someone I care about?”

If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t ship.

That standard — that heart — hasn’t changed.
